We are super excited to announce the dates and location of our Autumn Big Chief Tipis Open Weekend! The first weekend of October, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October, will play host to a weekend jam-packed with our fabulous tipis and our favourite suppliers.
We will be hosting our Open Weekend at the stunning Holford Hall in Plumley, Cheshire. Holford Hall is a new, soon to be launched wedding venue and the perfect place for a tipi wedding!
We are also raising money for The Christie Cancer Charity over the weekend and we have asked all of our suppliers to pay £100 to exhibit so we hope to raise over £1,000 over the weekend for this great cause!
With our Open Weekends we not only put up and showcase our tipis, but we invite a selection of our favourite suppliers to showcase their products & services too. Some of the amazing suppliers we already have confirmed for the weekend are…
Food
Pig & Rhubarb
Based in Manchester, but servicing the Lancashire and Cheshire areas, Pig & Rhubarb was born from a young chap who has trained with some of the country’s top Michelin star chefs. With the heritage of a 20-year old catering company owned by his mother behind him, Jack has launched Pig & Rhubarb to cater for people who want tasty food, locally sourced and at a fair price.
They will be serving cold canapes throughout the weekend from the tipis.. Yummy!

Cocktail Van
Beetle Juice is a high quality cocktail and drinks service, perfect for outdoor events. In the form of 1970’s VW campervans, the cocktail bars create a cool lounge feel with a selection of services to suit a variety of budgets, concepts and ideas. They now have 10 mobile bars to choose from, all serving high quality cocktails and at vast range of events. Not only do you get a high quality and unique experience but you can even make up the names of the cocktails yourself!
Our Big Chief Hayley loves them that much that she has even booked them for her 30th!
Photography
Based in the North of England, Melissa is a lifestyle and wedding photographer with an incredible range of styles in her portfolio. We teamed up with her on our last BCT Open Weekend and the images she took were beautiful. We also did a photoshoot while we were there and her photos have got us featured in Festival Brides, Brides Up North and Boho Weddings.
We’re thrilled she is taking part in this October’s open weekend and can’t wait to see what images she will take next!
Photobooth
A photobooth with a twist! Located outside the tipis, in a quirky vintage caravan, this photobooth comes complete with props and Polaroid camera!
Decoration
The North-West’s leading florist and event decorator, Springbank are an incredible company who can cater for all sizes and varieties of spaces. We worked together for our Spring Open Weekend and their designs blew our guests away, so we are very happy to have them on board once again!
Stationary
Manchester based graphic design duo Becky & Sarah offer a stunning selection of stationery for your wedding or party. They offer everything from Save The Dates & Wedding Invites, to table numbers and names cards, all the way through to confetti cones and finger print trees!
We still have lots of planning to do and lots more suppliers to confirm for you to see!
