We were so excited to be part of The National Wedding Show at Manchester Central last weekend. We met some amazing couples who were treated to a Champagne Bar, Vintage Afternoon Tea area and Bridalwear catwalks throughout the day all within the fantastic surroundings of the old train station.
Another element of a show was the Wedding Theatre where Bride-to-be’s were given 10 Top Tips on how to plan their wedding with the wow factor. All of this took place under one of our Big Hats where makeup tutorials and bridal dress advice sessions took place – we loved the stunning gowns which were on display by Allure.
Our Big Hat had the front sides lifted so that there was plenty of space for those seated and for those who wanted to take a peak from outside the busy theatre. We had a chandelier hanging from the centre above the gorgeous models and hosts and we also fitted a porch on the back of the tipi so everyone could see how different your entrance can look and provided easy access for the models to and from the tipi – for weddings, our entrance porch serves as a great entry for the caterers or toilets.
Along with our Big Hat we also had our own space which was dressed for all the brides and grooms to be to see. We dressed our mini tipi stand with a rustic table and benches; these had hessian runners laid on top with milk churns and small white lanterns. We dressed the tables for 6 however; they can be dressed for 8 depending on your personal preference. We also had our antler chandelier hanging high.
After a busy time at the Show meeting lots of wonderful people, Big Chief Tipis had the perfect ending…we were awarded the ‘Best Dressed Stand Award’ at Manchester Central and it was the cherry on top of a great weekend and a great show!
Remember to keep a look out for our blog on our best bits at The National Wedding Show Manchester! The next time you can catch our tipis is at Gibbon Bridge Hotel, two of our Big Hats will be up from Monday 16th of February until Monday 23rd!
